I'm Emma, the creator of Beau Tie. It's a luxury men’s accessories brand that I started back in 2012, born from a love of fabrics, and men’s style. After studying fashion and textiles with business at Portsmouth uni, I found that the business aspect really gave me insight into what it could be like and I really enjoyed it. Once graduated, I worked in retail, but knew my passion was in creativity and I had a strong need to run my own business. After 9 months of working on it around my job, I took the plunge to take it on full time.
My brand mission is to provide luxury and carefully crafted accessories that will be well-loved, and re worn time and time again. I'm here to create a range of products to help you express your individuality, whether that be through day to day style, smart occasions or on your wedding day. I try to encourage a greener approach to business by using vintage and reclaimed fabrics when I can, as well as sourcing from small independent fabric shops too.
Since starting Beau Tie, I have sold to countries all over the world, including every state of America. I have been featured in magazines such as Simply Sewing, Wedding ideas and Mollie Makes, and blogs including Rock My Wedding, Martha Stewart Weddings and Junebug Weddings.
Dog&Beau was created as a sister business to Beau Tie, to provide style for the beloved pup in your life. The range consists of carefully handmade detachable bow ties and bandanas. They are mostly made from reclaimed or vintage fabrics to encourage an environmentally friendly approach, and come in limited quantities to keep the product exclusive and individual.
